About me
I’m Dennis
Landfather.
Leadership & Perspective Advisor
I help leaders expand their perspective and get clear on what comes next.
I tend to ask deeper questions, recognize patterns, and notice when what people say matters isn’t reflected in how they work. I’m interested in understanding what sits beneath a challenge, and helping people see possibilities they may have overlooked.
My advisory practice is veteran owned. My background includes 20 years in the Navy Seabees, where I retired as a Chief Petty Officer, followed by business leadership and advisory work. That experience continues to shape how I lead and advise: taking responsibility, caring for people, and staying focused on what matters. I’ve led teams, worked through organizational complexity, and carried responsibility for both people and results.
Much of that work involved operations: how decisions get made, how teams coordinate, and how plans become action. Over time, my attention has increasingly turned toward the people and perspectives shaping those systems. What do we believe? What are we assuming? Are we clear about where we’re going, and why?
Today, I bring that experience into conversations with leaders and teams facing difficult decisions, change, and growth. I offer a place to think openly, challenge assumptions, and work toward greater clarity and alignment.
Whether you want to solve a problem, strengthen your team, or understand why you feel stuck, I can help you step back, see the situation differently, and get clear on what to do next.
My work is grounded in a belief that continues to shape my own life:
Perspective creates expansion.
Expansion creates possibility.
